Flex for Designers

With the release of the 3rd beta of Flex 3, the advanced constraint UI was dropped, unfortunately Flex Foundation for Designer was already being shipped when this happened.We will be releasing an errata shortly in the Friends of Ed website, meanwhile please note handles have been replaced by standard square handles. I created a quicktime video to show how to stretch the Panel Component retaining the liquid layout. If you have any other questions please use the comments section.  Cheers. +LA  

Hi, my name is LordAlex Leon one of the authors of Flex Foundation for Designers along with Greg Goralski and I created this blog primarily to answer questions and to post updates and changes that might help designers make the most with our recent published book.  So first allow me to thank you for purchasing Flex Foundation for Designers, we certainly put a lot effort into it and tried to approach the book in a way we thought it would matter to designers, we knew from the start it was challenge and that we might not be able to please everyone but certainly appreciate your comments and we will do our best to tackle as quickly as we can your questions and comments.
